World Economic Forum

Working together in the collaborative and collegial «spirit of Davos». Political leaders, businesspeople and experts from various fields have been meeting at the World Economic Forum, or WEF for short, in Davos since 1971. The meeting attracts thousands of participants from the world over and provides a forum to exchange ideas, promote cooperation, and seek solutions to global challenges.

In the global meetings and congress market, the World Economic Forum is the flagship event for Davos, attracting around 2,500 internationally prominent figures from the fields of business, politics, science and society. The annual meeting of the WEF brings the «spirit of Davos» to the whole world. Discussion of solutions, networking in a small-town setting with urban infrastructure and impressive mountain scenery.

 

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is a nonprofit foundation that is renowned worldwide for the annual meeting it organises every year in Davos. The Forum organises various other meetings throughout the year and publishes research reports. It now has regional offices in Beijing and New York.

 

At this meeting in the modern Davos Congress Centre, the foremost international economic experts, politicians, intellectuals, and media representatives come together to discuss the world’s most topical issues.
